Sweet! Woot got acquired by Amazon: http://go.me/7h
Just got done with Hair and Makeup. Later, I’ll be dramatically tipping my chair over. I’ll try to not let it all go to my head.
I just saw the iPhone 4’s screen for the first time. Crikey! You must see it in person: no picture or testimonial can do it justice.
It’s nice to be back on my home network. Fishbone was okay, but give me Private any day of the week.

There’s no indignity like a *new* indignity.
“[They aren’t] solving the problem of motivation; they’re evading it by pandering to the spontaneous impulses of the child.” http://go.me/4w
@deejf A personality conflict among Objectivists?! Shocking.
I eliminated a SELECT after an UPDATE in a T-SQL proc using an OUTPUT clause. I had never heard of that before, but it’s quite nice.
I’ll be at #OCON on July 3rd and 4th. If you’d like to meet up there, let me know and I’ll see what I can do.
gruber Remember when that one Android phone was so popular that the carrier was overloaded attempting to process preorders?
The latest update to GoodReader for iPad from @goodiware moved the app from good to great: double pages, left/right side paging and more.
Watching “Out of the Wild: The Alaska Experiment” on Netflix Streaming. Damn! It’s a great premise and outstanding execution.
Wrapping things up so I can go attend #ignitephx
@reederapp Reeder for iPad: acquired. Loving: commencing.
reederapp Good news, Reeder for iPad just got approved, finally :) Should appear in the store shortly (might take up to 24h)

I’m not sure I like this move: http://go.me/41 <— That shortened URL would be 5 characters longer under the new system and double wrapped.
Sycophants are my least favorite personality type but pedants run a close second. There’s two groups that I find really insufferable.
@rajnijjer Congratulations! Going anywhere special to celebrate?
@mclazarus It started out that way but I’m pretty sure our sweating raised the ambient humidity quite a bit.
@mclazarus It could be worse. I once helped my father install our garage-door opener in the “attic” in July. That was literally Hell.
Intriguing but blown away by latency of all video streaming emanating from NC—Apple’s not that new at cloud computing: http://is.gd/cEMmc
@mclazarus Every experience I’ve had with that was sheer pandemonium.
@kellyelmore79 What “corporate world” requires one to stop productive when told? The military?
@rationaljenn Who advocates that learning stop in the summer? Formal instruction might stop but no one argues that that’s the only learning.
