Ugh, Microsoft SMS: spawning processes and taking names.
One of the perils of never shutting down Windows XP is that when your box goes south, it does it hard. 60+ day uptimes are nice, but…
KT Tunstall’s Drastic Fantastic was solid on the first listen, but I think Poe’s Haunted is going to take a few runs to fully appreciate.
This is going to be quite a week: cancelling DirecTV and switching to Netflix.
I keep thinking, “Only three followers on Twitter?!” But then I remember that I don’t advertise it *anywhere* and I don’t do direct replies.
Might end up regretting the Poe. Why don’t I preview more thoroughly. Must be the windfall effect of $25.
Settled on new KT Tunstall and old Poe. I was really tempted by Optimus Rhyme and considered Abdominal based solely on his DJ Format work.
$25 gift certificate to iTunes. Geesh, just enough to force you to choose wisely but not enough to choose enough. Decisions…
It’s interesting explaining RSS to a complete non-technical person.
Bye bye, Christmas!
I mean the guy never looked up, but I’ll take that over actively thwarting any day.
Just had a seamless time returning presents to Target. First time ever.
Note: I’ve replaced cracked heads but that’s not something I can do myself nor am I particularly interested in doing them any longer.
In fact, it’s my second least favorite me-serviceable piece to replace. My least favorite? The starter. I hate those; I always get injured.
AutoZoner (apparently that’s what they’re called) says that it’s probably a bad alternator. Alternator replacement is not a hobby of mine.
I guess I like air filter replacement better. But it’s extremely rare that an immobilized car just needs a new air filter.
Seriously. If you do it with the frequency I do, then it’s likely free. And you can do it yourself, so there’s no inflated mechanic labor.
I love swapping car batteries. It doesn’t get any better than that to my eay of thinking.
Definitely a MINI Cooper-themed Christmas for me.
Javascript’s splice function is no remove, friends.
Christmas shopping at last! Earlier than usual…
Blargh. Best sushi link: http://www.tokyolobbysus…
I blame dark lighting and poor BB typing skills.
Mmm, waiting on the best sushi in Phoenix! http://www.tokyolobbysys…
I won an Austin Powers Pictionary game at my area’s white elephant exchange. I did not know there was even such a thing.
Oh, that was a principal. Even worse.
Ugh, what is it with teachers and condescension?
Blargh, last minute changes are the bane of my existence.
Guests are gone, now it’s just that tired “do we let it set out or dig in and get this dump cleaned” questioning glance.
My Costco’s out of eggnog! Whoa!
Ahh, the frenetic preparations for a Christmas party! Is there anything sweeter? Oh yeah, anything else.
Gin Blossoms rockin’!
Ahh yes, the time-honored tradition of being ready to go and waiting for your wife to get dressed.
Gah, I can’t believe there was a time when I had to wear dress shirts and ties every day!
Yay, Sandi’s migraine has subsided! Party on, Bill!
You’d think developing something only for WebKit would make things so much easier. You’d be wrong.
The Gin Blossoms are likely playing the company party tomorrow night. Enh.
30 Rock is golden!
Three girls in a bathroom takes forever.
Boy do I love last minute changeups!
IE, you are the thorn in my side, the stain I can’t remove, the song stuck in my head! How do I hate thee!
Dehydrated chicken for lunch? Again? Yay!
I think I’ve finally found someone who’s louder than me. Sorry everybody who thinks I’m too loud.
Time to lay into Baby App and put it through its paces.
Bathing the little ladies is such a relaxing change of pace.
Bleh. What a day! I hate typos.
My baby’s in production now! No birth announcements or cigars yet though…
Yay, deployment’s finally progressing!
I hate it when someone drops the ball and you spend your whole morning trying to find it.
Trying out Twitterberry. I could enjoy Twitter this way.
